This year's winners of Kids CRO Race - a virtual race for the youngest, joined the winners on stage too. Kids CRO Race was held simultaneously with CRO Race in seven cities - Osijek, Varaždin, Otočac, Makarska, Crikvenica, Opatija and Zagreb. In the younger age group of 9 and 10 years, the best this year were Jurica and Hana from Varaždin, and in the older age group of 11 and 12 years, the victory went to Nika from Opatija and Fran from Crikvenica.

This type of event aims to encourage younger generations to exercise and play sport as much as possible, while creating awareness of the positive health effects that cycling brings to society and individuals. Emphasis is also placed on promoting the development and encouragement of low-carbon transport, a sustainable and environmentally non-invasive way of transport. In parallel with Kids CRO Race, in cooperation with The Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, interactive workshops in household waste recycling held, in which more than 2,000 children participated over five years. Thanks to our partner Keindl Sport, we provided bikes and Elite trainers for all young competitors this year as well. This year, a partnership was also concluded with the ROUVY platform, which offers a 100% realistic, virtual bike race through augmented reality technology. Each competitor had their own animated avatar that rides in all weather and road conditions, just like professional cyclists. Children could experience the incredible fun and adrenaline that CRO Race bringed.

Children were invited to this competition in cooperation with local primary schools and those who wish could register at the venue one hour before the start of the race. Young competitors were encouraged by their family, schoolmates and the gathered audience during the races in all cities.
