Kastav
The town of Kastav was built on a 365-metre-high hill overlooking Kvarner Bay. It is located in the immediate vicinity of Rijeka, an important economic and cultural centre, and Opatija, a popular tourist destination. Rising above towns teeming with activity, Kastav has managed to keep up with the times while preserving its rich history, valuable architectural monuments, culture, tradition, and unspoilt nature.
